Philippe Terrier is a lecturer in ÉTS’s General Education Department. He studied mechanical engineering, completed a master’s in engineering, and obtained a graduate diploma in Sustainable Development Management at HEC Montréal. He is now a doctoral student in sustainable development at ÉTS.

Before teaching at ÉTS, he participated in several scientific missions to Antarctica. He also worked as a development coordinator in a high-power wind turbine manufacturing company. Between 2010 and 2013, he was the executive director and administrator of Ingénieurs Sans Frontières Québec.
