  1.  Election of Dr Botez as Royal Aeronautical Society RAeS Fellow, 2021

  2. Election of Dr Botez as International Association of Advanced Materials IAAM Fellow, 2020

  3. Election of Dr Botez as Vebleo Fellow, 2020

  4. International Association of Advanced Materials IAAM Medal Award was given to Dr Botez at the 26th IAAM conference in Stockholm, Sweden, 2019.

  5. International Association of Advanced Materials IAAM Guest of Honour Diploma was given to Dr Botez at 26th IAAM Conference in Stockholm, Sweden, 2019.

  6. Certificate of Recognition was given to Dr Botez at the ''21st Edition of the International Conference of Scientific Research and Education'', Air Force Academy Henri Coanda, Brasov, Romania, 2019.

  7. Election of Dr Botez as CASI Associate Fellow, 2019.

  8. Award was given to Dr Botez as Highly Cited Author in the Chinese Journal of Aeronautics (source: Scopus).

  9. Special Award was given to Dr Botez at the GLOREP 2018 conference in Timisoara, Romania. This award consisted in a painting made by the very well known Romanian Painter Mihai Teodor Olteanu.

  10. Excellence Diploma and Medal were given to Dr Botez for her Achievements in Aerospace Research. The Medal was given for the celebration of 30 years since the fighter IAR-99 was designed and manufactured. Both of them were given to Dr Botez on 24th of October 2018 at Bucharest in Romania at the Romanian Academy with the occasion of the conference called ‘’100 ans of Aviation in Romania (1919-2018)’’.

  11. The 2017 ARA Award for Excellence in Aerospace Engineering was given to Dr Botez for her International Contribution to the Aerospace Engineering and Education.

  12. The 2017 ARA Award for Excellence in Aerospace Engineering was given to Dr Lucian Teodor Grigorie.

  13. American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics AIAA Associate Fellow recognition for Dr Ruxandra Botez, 2016.

  14. Venetzia Award offered by the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the leadership of Dr Botez in the CRIAQ MDO-505 project - Category 'Scientific and Academic'

  15. Selection of the presentation of Dr Ruxandra Botez on the ''Short List'' of the 14 best presentations and papers for the award given by the committee of the Greener Aviation 2014 conference

  16. Second award for the CRIAQ MDO-505 project obtained with the occasion of the CRIAQ Forum, on 17th of April 2014 - given to the team working on the CRIAQ MDO-505 project formed by professors Dr Ruxandra Botez, Dr Simon Joncas, Dr Eric Laurendeau (Ecole Polytechnique), Dr Mahmood Mamou et Dr Brian Jahrhaus and his team at the IAR-CNRC, the industrial leaders: Mr Philippe Molaret from Thales Canada, Dr Patrick Germain and Dr Fassi Kafyeke from Bombardier Aéronautique.

  17. Prix du modèle pour la meilleure simulation offert par la compagnie Presagis au laboratoire LARCASE sous la supervision du Dr Ruxandra Botez, le 15 novembre 2012.

  18. Third award for the completed CRIAQ 7.1 project obtained with the occasion of the 10th Anniversary of CRIAQ, on 16th of March 2012 - given to the team working on the CRIAQ 7.1 project formed by professors Ruxandra Botez, Vladimir Brailovski & Patrick Terriault (LAMSI-ETS), Ion Paraschivoiu (Ecole Polytechnique) and their students, Dr Mahmood Mamou and his team at the IAR-CNRC, the industrial leaders: Mr Philippe Molaret from Thales Canada, Dr Eric Laurendeau and Dr Fassi Kafyeke from Bombardier Aerospace.

  20. ÉTS Research Excellence Award, for her outstanding contribution to research, 2007.

  1. 2021 Charles M. Manly Memorial Medal from SAE International at AEROTECH - recognizes the author(s) of the best paper(s) related to theory or practice in the design or construction of, or research on, aerospace engines, their parts, components, or accessories at a meeting of the Society or its secons during the calendar year. This medal was given to the authors: Alejandro Murrieta, Ruxandra Botez, Hugo Ruiz and Sonya Kessaci for their paper entitled: "Particle Swarm Optimization with Required Time of Arrival Constraint for Aircraft Trajectory", SAE Aerospace, Special Issue on ''Innovations for Sustainable Aviation'', 13(2), pp. 269-291, 2020, doi:10.4271/01-13-02-0020.

  2. Award for the Excellent Presentation of the B. Eng. Project obtained following competition at the ÉTS between B. Eng. students, Miss Gueye Maimouna(Internship student), 2018.

  3. Best Presentation Award, obtained at the ICEER 2018: 20th International Conference on Engineering Education and Research, for paper entitled: Design and Validation of an Aerodynamic Model of Cessna Citation X Horizontal Stabilizer using both OpenVSP and Digital DATCOM by Marine Segui, Matthieu Mantilla, Ruxandra Mihaela Botez. This award was given by the World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology, 2018.

  4. Best Paper Award, obtained at the ICEER 2018: 20th International Conference on Engineering Education and Research, for paper entitled: Aerodynamic Coefficients Prediction from Minimum Computation Combinations using OpenVSP Software, by Marine Segui and Ruxandra Mihaela Botez. This award was given by the World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology, 2018.

  5. The CRIAQ MDO 505 Team led by Dr Botez: Teodor Lucian Grigorie, M. J. Tchatchuneg Kammegne, Andreea Koreanschi, Oliviu Sugar Gabor, Mohamed Guezguez, Yvan Tondji, Mahmood Mamou, Youssef Mébarki has won the Morphing Wing Modeling and Simulation Award, for the poster nr 25 ‘Experiments on a Real Aircraft Morphing Wing’. This poster was presented at the 41st Congress of the Romanian-American Academy of Arts and Sciences (ARA) during the Poster Competition that took place in July 19-22, 2017 at the University of Craiova in Romania, 2018.

  6. Posters Competition Finalist, Miss Marine Segui (Master student) – A number of 6 finalists were selected. The poster of Marine was installed in the hall of ÉTS during 3 weeks, 2018.

  7. Award for the best teaching assistant at École Polytechnique, Mr Georges Ghazi (PhD student) at the LARCASE, 2017.

  8.
