Evey Innovation thinks big

A company incubated at the Centech shines at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas

January 21, 2016
Evey Innovation, an incubator company in the ÉTS Centre de l'entrepreneurship technologique (Centech), recently presented its home automation application at the 2016 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, the most important trade show in the world dedicated to innovative consumer technologies.

Two electrical engineering graduates of ÉTS - Keaven Martin and Shan Meunier-Bernard - launched a business venture together in the fall of 2014, with the goal to reinvent the concept of a smart home. Their objective: develop innovative home automation products in order to democratize this field, where applications are currently cost-prohibitive and considered a luxury. Their very first product being developed is a wireless, touchscreen smart switch that allows you to remotely control all the heating and lighting applications in a home.

Backed by the Entrepreneurship program of the Offices jeunesse internationaux du Québec, Evey Innovation's attendance at the CES added up to a unique opportunity for business development, crowdfunding and visibility for the young entrepreneurs.

Keaven Martin from Evey Innovation Keaven Martin, a graduate of ETS, is the co-founder of Evey Innovation.
