ÉTS has been entrusted with the management of CAMEP and CAEP exchange programs for 2012 to 2015.

The Canadian asphalt mix exchange program is a program targeted at laboratories in Canada that perform tests on bituminous materials. This program offers participants the opportunity to compare their results with those of other laboratories carrying out similar tests. It provides a mechanism for evaluating and improving testing methods. Further, it evaluates the volumetric and mechanical properties of asphalt mixes, using the Marshall method, the gyratory shear compactor and the ignition furnace.

As for the Canadian asphalt exchange program, it only covers asphalt bitumen. The program evaluates the properties of bitumen and of bitumen emulsions.
