CCToMM 2019

The 2019 CCToMM Symposium on Mechanisms, Machines, and Mechatronics (2019 CCToMM M3 Symposium) will be held from Thursday, May 16, 2019, to Friday, May 17, 2019, at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), in Montreal. The 2019 CCToMM Annual General Meeting will be held during the Symposium. Financial support is available through the CCToMM Student Delegates Awards to assist students wishing to present their work at the symposium (see details).

Papers must be submitted before January 14, 2019. A selection of the best papers presented during the symposium will be published in a special issue of the Transactions of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering.

PAPER TOPICS
CCToMM M3 Symposium sessions will potentially include: mechanisms, robotics, mechatronics, space robotics, medical robotics, mobile robotics, robotic tooling, dynamics of machines, gearing and transmissions, applied vibrations/acoustics, sensors and actuators, machining and metrology, control of mechanical systems.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Full papers should be submitted as single-column unsecured PDF files formatted using one of the following two templates:

  • LaTeX and MS Word templates (.zip)

Full papers should not exceed 12 pages. All communications with the corresponding author of each paper will be conducted by email or through the online submission system (to be announced soon).

Each corresponding author submitting a full paper will be requested to produce two reviews per paper submitted and at least one author is expected to register and present the paper at the symposium.

The two-day fees include :
  • for non-members, a complimentary one-year registration to CCToMM;
  • one copy of the proceedings on a USB key;
  • the coffee breaks;
  • lunches (2);
  • symposium banquet.

For one-day participants, fees include the above except the Symposium Dinner and only one lunch. Additional tickets for the Banquet can be included in the registration fee at an extra cost of $60 each.
